LACE
Lace is that one garment that when worn gives a twist of femininity to it. It’s elegant and very beautifully detailed.  It has stayed in trend for a very long time now. First, it was considered just to be a fashion fad for magazines and stores but it looks like it’s here to stay. Don’t throw away those old lace cutouts, it’s best to put it to use this summer helping to add a touch of lace to your clothing.

Recently the Zara and Vero Moda collections have a lot of lace-work clothing. That could be your best pick.

PASTELS
This summer, pastel colours are very much in i.e. light greens, light pinks, sky blues etc. Also, a pair of pastel jeans in varied colours or tops in subtle tones could help add a touch of pastel.

Forever New is known for their amazing pastel line of clothing. That store just may be the perfect place to head to this season.

Another way to get pastel is by purchasing some amazing pastel nail polish colours. As these shades have come in a little late here in India but as they say, better late than never. Lakme have recently introduced pastel shades.

FLORALS
Another best way to get summery is to include a collection of florals in your closet. Let the floral do the talking and keep it simple and fresh. This trend intrigues me a lot because of its beachwear overtones.

NEONS
This trend is my personal favorite. The only thing that neon screams out are BRIGHT colours. Don’t miss out on this one, it’s time for a colour-filled summer with bright reds, oranges, yellows and anything that seems striking and just colour-drenched.
